Dr. Anderson obtained his Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota, and his PhD from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He joined UCCS in 1984, and since then, in addition to still teaching Organic Chemistry, has taken on a number of other roles, including Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Director of the UCCS Faculty Resource Center, and Senior Faculty Associate to the Office of Information Technology, to name a few. His scholarly endeavors in recent years have focused on incorporating technology into teaching and learning, including web-based content delivery; electronic audience response systems; online practice, homework, and proctored assessments; hyflex course delivery with recorded lectures; and fully online courses, among others.
