Kelsey is a Michigan native who earned her M.S. in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. In graduate school, she made teaching a priority and gained a foundation in college science teaching through completion of the Delta Certificate in Teaching and Learning and the WISCIENCE Scientific Teaching Fellowship. She teaches upper-division biochemistry labs. Outside of the lab and classroom, Kelsey enjoys hiking and backpacking with her family as well as singing in Colorado Springs choirs.
